My Review –
I just adore this series and I was so delighted that there was a new book in the series. Things have changed a lot as we enter the sixties and there’s more change to come for the residents of Mulberry Lane.
I loved reuniting with the characters, who feel like old friends by now. The children are grown up now and starting out on their careers and I loved hearing about the renovations to the pub and the restaurant. Peggy’s accident is really shocking and it’s so hard to see what she has to go through.
This wonderful book just drew me in and held me captivated. I enjoyed every page of it and I hope there are many more books to come in this enchanting series.
