This was a new author for me, and I will certainly be seeking out more of her novels, what a twisty and tense read this was!
Right from the start I was gripped, and this is a book whose relentless pace never gives up. It’s a long time since I’ve read a book so fast, and I absolutely raced through this one.
Very authentic, this book feels so real, and the medical side of it is really well researched. The characters are strong and have great depth, not all of them likeable, but this really adds to the gritty and realistic plot.
It’s a psychological thriller with a difference, weaving the legal and medical world but spiced up with intrigue, desire, ambition and revenge.
Completely addictive and breathtakingly twisty and suspenseful, this will have you reading late into the night. Impossible to put down.
