My Review:

Oh it was so good to be back with these wonderful characters in Mulberry Lane again!

The war is over, and life is improving for people. Peggy and her family are happy with their life in Devon, but she has a lot of big decisions to make.

We also reconnect with her friends in the lanes, Rose and Maureen. They miss Peggy, and would love if she came back.

This heart-warming series is such a treat, I love when a new one comes out. The characters go through some tough times, but their family values and their wonderful friendships help to get them through. There’s a real sense of community in the lanes, and people look out for each other.

A reflection of the changing times, and of the strength of women, this gorgeous book is a pleasure to read from start to finish. I’m eagerly awaiting the next one already!
