Three strangers, two secrets, one terrifying evening. The million-copy bestseller returns with a gripping new novel that will keep you guessing until the end.
My Review:
It’s a long time since I’ve read a book in one day, but with this one, I just had to. Be warned, you will not be able to put this down! It kept me reading late into the night, there was no way I could wait until the next day to finish it.
I was gripped right from the very first page. It’s got a completely gripping prologue, and it will leave you dying to find out how it gets to this moment.
The descriptions and characters in this book are so excellent. It’s like being transported there, and like knowing all the characters personally. Each of the three main characters have their own flaws and issues, but are very relatable.
The plot is very clever. I had no idea how these three people were going to connect and their lives intersect to bring them to the events of the prologue. When the strands finally all come together it’s such a rollercoaster. It will leave you reeling. Then there’s a calm, then another little twist. Superbly done.
This is absolutely one of the best psychological thrillers that I’ve ever read. It’s heart-pounding, all engrossing, dark and disturbing, fast paced brilliance. I can hardly even rate it highly enough.
My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
