Maybe Baby by Carol Thomas

I’m so pleased to be part of the blog tour today for this charming book. Thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources for the copy of the book and invitation to be part of the blog tour.

Just when you thought you had it all worked out …

Best friends Lisa and Felicity think – maybe, just maybe – they finally have everything sorted out in their lives.
Lisa is in a happy relationship with her old flame, and busy mum Felicity has managed to reignite the passion with her husband, Pete after a romantic getaway.
But when Lisa walks in on a half-naked woman in her boyfriend’s flat and Felicity is left reeling from a shocking discovery, it becomes clear that life is nothing but full of surprises …

This book is a sequel to the Purrfect Pet-Sitter, and it was a while since I’d read the first book, but it didn’t matter. I soon remembered who everyone was, but in actual fact you could read this book as a standalone if you wished.

It’s all change and surprises for Lisa and Flick, and there’s lots of laughs and good humour along the way, along with a few misunderstandings!

The pets are up to their usual tricks, with a few adventures and attempted escapes, and there’s a lot going on in Lisa’s personal life too.

A lovely, charming book, full of humour and romance. Excellent, relatable characters and a nicely flowing plot make this such an enjoyable read. Grab a cuppa and a comfy spot and enjoy it.
