MY REVIEW:
Wow, this is such a gripping and addictive book!
Straight away I was hooked. Martha’s sister, Becky is minding her baby, and tragedy strikes. Now Becky is accused of murder and they’re in court, as Martha waits to find out if her sister has murdered her baby.
It’s compelling stuff, told from various viewpoints. As the timeline builds, and we hear from various witnesses, as well as hearing Becky’s story, the tension builds. I couldn’t wait to get to the end to find out, while also finding it unthinkable that the worst could have happened.
So well written, with a twisty plot, and unbearable tension, this is yet another stunning must-read from this fantastically talented author. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
